Embark on a spiritual journey through the Holy Land and immerse yourself in the rich history and significance of biblical sites that hold deep meaning for Christian believers around the world. From Nazareth, where the Annunciation took place, to the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus performed many of his miracles, to Jerusalem, the site of his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension.

This tour will take you to some of the most important places in the life of Jesus, including the Chapel of Ascension, Gethsemane, Temple Mount, the Garden Tomb and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. You will also visit the Western Wall and walk the Via Dolorosa, tracing the path that Jesus took to his crucifixion. Itinerary

ThursdayTransfer to the Sea Of Galilee

We’ll meet at 4pm at your hotel in Tel Aviv and have our “Welcome to Israel” introduction while we negotiate the weekend traffic. We’ll see some of the coastal plain views before dark and continue all the way to the Nof Ginosar hotel by the shore of the Sea of Galilee where we’ll stay for 3 nights.

FridayNazareth

Get ready to step back in time!
We’ll head to the Basilica of Annunciation to see the 1st century village where the Archangel Gabriel told Mary she would give birth to Jesus. Visit The Synagogue Church where Jesus taught and St. Mary’s Spring that provides the water to the village are also on the itinerary. Next, we’ll climb up Mt. Precipice for a breathtaking view.
After a local lunch at 13:45 we’ll visit Nazareth Village to get a feel for what life was like during the time of Jesus. A  day filled with history and spirituality lays ahead!

SaturdaySea of Galilee-Golan Heights

We’ll be visiting some of the most meaningful and revered Christian sites in the Holy Land. At the Mt. of Beatitudes, we’ll see the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. In Tabgha, we’ll visit the Church of the Multiplication where Jesus performed the miracle of the loaves and fishes. We’ll also visit the Primacy of St. Peter, where Jesus is said to have appeared to the disciples after his resurrection and ate with them. In Capernaum, we’ll see the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught and performed many of his miracles. Kursi, where Jesus is said to have cast out demons into the sea, is also on the itinerary.

On our way to the Golan Heights, we’ll stop at Caesarea Philippi within the Banyas nature reserve beside Mt. Hermon, the highest pick in Israel. And in the end of the day we’ll enjoy a visit to a local winery.

SundayBaptism site, Qumeran, Dead Sea beach

A relaxing and rejuvenating day as we visit some of the most serene and picturesque locations in the Holy Land. First, at 9:00, we’ll be sailing on the Sea of Galilee (with Galilee Sailing) off the shore of Ginosar. It is an enriching and inspiring experience, offering a unique perspective on the history and culture of the area, as well as a peaceful and spiritual escape.

Then we’ll make our way through the Jordan valley to the Baptism site on the Jordan river, where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.

Next, we’ll visit Qumeran, a site that  had been inhabited by a Jewish sect during the time of Jesus. This site offers a unique look into the world of the ancient Jews and provides a fascinating glimpse into the religious and cultural heritage of the region.

Finally, we’ll head to the Dead Sea beach where you can float in its mineral-rich waters, apply therapeutic mud to your skin and just relax and soak up the sun. With its unique properties, the Dead Sea is considered a must-visit destination.

Monday-TuesdayJerusalem

We’re going to delve into the rich history of Jerusalem on days 5 and 6!
We’ll start by visiting the Mount of Olives, where you’ll get a panoramic view of the city and see the Chapel of Ascension, where Jesus has ascended into heaven. We’ll then visit Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before his arrest, and The Temple Mount, the site of the two biblical temples.

Next, we’ll explore the Christian Quarter and visit the Garden Tomb, where some believe Jesus was buried and resurrected. We’ll also stop by Machne Yehuda market, where you can sample local delicacies and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

We’ll also visit the Western Wall, a part of  the wall of the Second Temple compound, and explore the tunnels underneath for a unique perspective of ancient Jerusalem. We’ll also walk the Via Dolorosa, the path that Jesus is said to have walked on the way to his crucifixion, and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. To round off our tour, we’ll stop by the Tomb of King David, the revered king of Israel.
